Art, culture and education – created together

Residency for Art and Culture Artihost is created to empower artistic and cultural movement through a sustainable residency programme to ignite co-creation and co-operation, particularly among Lithuanian youth, to address the lack of cultural education and initiatives.

Activities are held to raise the creative, cultural and artistic competencies of residents and the surrounding ecosystem, to mobilise creators, to collaborate with artists and to disseminate creative work – raising awareness of the artist-in-residence, other artists, the community and partners. We improve communication and collaboration skills (finding points of contact) with the community, implement cultural and artistic projects in a non-traditional environment (the innovation aspect), educate the public on artistic and cultural issues and involve vulnerable groups.
